A study was conducted to find out the trend in flower cultivation in the southern districts of Kanyakumari and Tirunelveli in Tamil Nadu. An increase in area under flower cultivation was observed in both the districts. A majority of the farmers had a farming experience of two to four years, had followed either nipping or pruning and less than one fourth of the farmers followed regular rejuvenation. |
