SLITRK1-mediated noradrenergic projection suppression in the neonatal prefrontal cortex

Loss of SLITRK1 results in altered behaviour and in increased noradrenergic projections in OCD-related neural circuits, suggesting that differences in noradrenergic signaling may contribute to numerous neurodevelopmental disorders, including OCD, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder.
