Subcutaneous emphysema of the extremities: Be wary of necrotizing fasciitis, but also consider occult rupture or perforation
Abstract Not all causes of subcutaneous emphysema are attributable to necrotizing fasciitis. Consider other causes of subcutaneous emphysema in the differential diagnosis.
