| Summary: | The paper describes the scientific and educational activities of the Tatar poet and writer, scientist and teacher Gabderahim Utyz Imani (1754 – 1834), who made a significant contribution to the development of the Tatar culture. In particular, the author analyzes the Arabic-language works of G. Utyz Imani, which were written by the scientist as a schoolbook for the pupils of the Tatar madrassah. The author of the paper presents the main ideas of these works, finds out the aims that were pursued by G. Utyz Imani at their writing, draws a conclusion about a role and meaningfulness of these works for the education and enlightening of that time. |
