The adopted theoretical foundation aimed to use authors who work with the gender issue, such as Michel Foucault, Judith Butler, Paul B. Preciado, and Berenice Bento. The study has a narrative, comprehensive nature. To this end, the locus of the investigation included a search in the following virtual libraries: Google Acadêmico, Scielo, PePSIC, and BVS Brasil. The partial results point to two different realities faced in the Brazilian context.
