Summary:Abstract. The utilization of the schoolyard as a comfortable and beautiful learning medium is one of the activities that can be applied in schools in realizing the concept of green building. SD IT Teuku Umar Meulaboh is one of the most favorite schools in West Aceh Regency, and there are so many students that every year the school must make additional study rooms to accommodate new students. But in every planning and implementation of the building, the concept of green building is not applied. This can be seen, the lack of greenery in the schoolyard, as well as the large use of air conditioning, so that students are less comfortable and feel hot when studying indoors or outdoors. So based on the survey results, it was found that several problems faced by the elementary school, namely, lack of understanding about the application of the green building concept in buildings, at the IT Meulaboh elementary school there has been no attempt to reduce the impact of global warnings, resulting in an increase in temperature in the school environment, lack of green open space. Based on these problems, Community Service was carried out in the form of Socialization of the Green Building Concept and the application of Vertical Gardens in school buildings with the technique of watering plants using automatic sprinklers. The socialization activity received an enthusiastic response and was willing to accept the technological innovations provided and was willing to apply the technology provided. Abstrak.  Pemanfaatan pekarangan sekolah menjadi media belajar yang nyaman dan asri merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang dapat diterapkan di sekolah dalam mewujudkan konsep green building. SD IT Teuku Umar Meulaboh merupakan salah satu sekolah terfavorit yang terdapat diKabupaten Aceh Barat, dan sangat banyak siswa/siswinya sehingga setiap tahunnya sekolah harus membuat penambahan ruang belajar untuk dapat menampung siswa baru. Tapi disetiap perencanaan dan pelaksanaan bangunnan kurang menerapkan konsep green building. Hal ini dapat dilihat, minimnya penghijauan yang ada dipekarangan sekolah, serta banyaknya penggunaan pendingin ruangan, sehingga siswa/siswi kurang nyaman dan terasa panas saat belajar di dalam maupun di luar ruangan. Sehingga berdasarkan hasil survey didapatkan beberapa permasalahan yang dihadapi SD tersebut, yaitu, Kurangnya pemahaman tentang penerapan konsep green building pada bangunan, Pada sekolah SD IT Meulaboh belum adanya usaha untuk mengurangi dampak global warning, sehingga terjadi peningkatan suhu pada lingkungan sekolah, Kurangnya ruang terbuka hijau. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut maka dilakukan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat berupa Sosialisasi Green Building Concept dan penerapan Vertical Garden pada gedung sekolah dengan teknik penyiraman tanaman menggunakan springkler otomatis. Kegiatan sosialisasi  mendapatkan respon yang antusias dan mau menerima inovasi teknologi yang diberikan serta bersedia untuk menerapkan teknologi yang diberikan.
