Summary:In this study, the development process, terminology and categories of robot and robotic technology is surveyed and operational requirements of Unmanned Ground Vehicles are presented. Anticipation of military concepts and doctrines about engineering and improvement necessities for the Unmanned Ground Vehicles which has a great importance in future combat systems are evaluated in general and advantages of these very critical systems in todays asymmetric operational conditions are identified. Expected final product parameters from producers and technology companies in unit level are compiled in detail under functional requirements title.
