Summary:<p><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong><strong><em>: </em></strong><em>The study on children and early child education and its probelms from different perspectives has attracted researchers and academia. This paper focuses on studies of </em>tarbiyah<em> process and the developmental needs on golden age phase. The study is carried out employing the perspective of </em><em>a</em><em>l-Qur’an </em><em>and </em>hadîts<em> integrated with other knowledge of Psychology, Neuroscience, Medical Studies, and Sociology. From the integrated perspective, there becomes a universal principle that golden age phase is the most important stage in human life. This only comes once in the stage of human life cycle. If it passes without effective stimulation, this next stage of development potential is degrading. Children bearing such shortage are called “those who lost their childhood”.</em></p><p><strong><em>Abstrak</em></strong>: <em>Kajian tentang a</em><em>nak</em><em> dan pendidikan anak usia dini dalam berbagai perspektif dan dengan berbagai problematikanya belakangan ini menarik perhatian banyak akademisi dan peneliti.</em><em> Tulisan ini memfokuskan kajian pada proses tarbiyah dan kebutuhan perkembangan pada fase </em>“golden age”<em> (usia 0-8 tahun).</em><em> Kajian ini dilakukan dengan perspektif a</em><em>l-Qur’an </em><em>dan hadis di samping disiplin ilmu-ilmu lainnya, seperti p</em><em>endidikan, </em><em>p</em><em>s</em><em>ik</em><em>olog</em><em>i</em><em>, </em>neuroscience<em>, </em><em>k</em><em>edokteran, </em><em>dan s</em><em>osiolog</em><em>i. Dari perspektif yang beragam itu ditemukan suatu pandangan umum bahwa</em><em> </em><em>fase</em><em> golden age </em><em>itu </em><em>adalah bagian terpenting da</em><em>lam </em><em>kehidupan manusia. </em><em> </em><em>F</em><em>ase emas yang datangnya </em><em>hanya </em><em>sekali dalam rentang kehidupan manusia </em><em>itu </em><em>apabila terlewatkan tanpa stimulasi efektif, </em><em>maka </em><em>lenyaplah peluang untuk berkembang pada fase selanjutnya</em><em>;</em><em> </em><em>anak yang demikian </em><em>disebut </em><em>sebagai </em><em>“</em><em>a</em><em>nak </em><em>y</em><em>ang </em><em>k</em><em>ehilangan </em><em>m</em><em>asa kecil”</em><em>.</em></p><strong><em></em></strong>
