description This paper describes the design, implementation and application of a smart sensor system based in wireless communication protocol, which was developed with the main objective of facilitate the implementation of smart places, whereby monitoring and supervision of environmental physical variables in a residence or commercial buildings. Based in this system, we want to co-help taking advantage and save electric energy, optimizing the use of the lighting systems and air conditioner only in the schedules and under pre-established conditions for the final user. The system is based in a variety of nodes o modules of sensors like temperature, humidity, light, carbon monoxide, noise and LP gas which have the ability to work collaboratively in networks with topologies like star, tree and mesh.
