Material and Methods. The statistical reports on education of physicians (pharmacists)-trainees and physicians (pharmacists)-interns at the Faculty of Postgraduate Education throughout 2013-2015 were analyzed. Results and Discussion. The article highlights the main stages of functioning of the Faculty of Postgraduate Education at the Danylo Halytsky National Medical University in Lviv throughout 2013-2015. The ways of improving postgraduate education according to the current requirements are substantiated. Statistical reports on education of physicians (pharmacists)-trainees and physicians (pharmacists)-interns at the Faculty of Postgraduate Education throughout 2013-2015 are analyzed. The necessity of changing approaches and improving postgraduate educational programs in line with research achievements, current guidelines and treatment standards in terms of evidence-based medicine is proved. The substantiation was performed by implementing anonymous questioning of physicians (pharmacists)-trainees and physicians (pharmacists)-interns. This enabled revealing weak points of postgraduate education and directing efforts towards  improving postgraduate educational services at the departments of the Danylo Halytsky National Medical University in Lviv. Conclusions. The Faculty of Postgraduate Education at the Danylo Halytsky National Medical University in Lviv continuously monitors the functioning of postgraduate education departments, analyzes suggested topics for trainees, controls updating, changing and extending the range of professional improvement courses according to current requirements.
