| Summary: | The theory of enunciative operations of Antoine Culioli rejects the idea that language is an instrument but rather, «the language apprehended through natural languages», which is the field of linguistics. This implies that the role of the linguist is to describe the natural languages. The sentence is to the order of discourse which it is the main unit, the linguist admits that there is no sentence only that called predicative.
