description | The origins of this text are a result from the reflections accomplished in group, during the development of the disciplines Epistemology and Science and Semiotics, Aesthetics and Knowledge, both of the Post-Graduate Program in Knowledge Engineering and Management - UFSC. The main approached subject is the intuition in the knowledge origin, as it was proposed firstly in the categories presented in the Critical of Pure Reason of Immanuel Kant, which had questioned the cartesianism. Later, the Kantian categories were also criticized by Charles S. Peirce, that was author of a series of seven questions on the theme in study. Those questions are presented and discussed to follow, in accordance with the Peirces thought and, also, with Carl Gustav Jung ideas. The convergence point that justifies the confrontation of the Peirce and Jung ideas is the symbol concept that was adopted and particularly developed by the two thinkers. |
