The important role of IT in libraries cannot be ignored, as an effective usage of IT in libraries-especially university and research libraries-leads to the promotion of their performance and services, but various research works suggest an improper outcome of investments on IT, so that the identification of factors that affect IT application may he helpful in effectiveness of this investment. A group of these factors which are extracted through reviewing literature are cultural factors, organizational factors, technical factors, and individual factors. |
