Summary: | Crusted (Norwegian) scabies is a rare variant of Scabies which usually presents in patients with poor cellular immunity that occurs in conditions like AIDS, Leukemia, Lymphoma, Steroid/Chemotherapy, solid organ transplant, and malnutrition. We present a case of Norwegian (crusted) scabies in a patient with concurrent leukemia cutis. The scabies infection presented with a similar rash as the leukemia cutis which delayed the diagnosis and treatment. |
