Description
Summary:In the context of global concern about climate change and energy security, saving and optimizing electricity usage has become a priority of the European Union's energy policy. In the member states, households consume about 27% of the total electricity used [1]. Thus, controlling electricity consumption remains an important objective for this sector as well. Developing a reliable application for electricity monitoring and optimization is a way to reduce individual consumer consumption, as well as a solution to avoid overloading the distribution network.
