description The use of GIS and the geoprocessing techniques have allowed applications in different areas. The MCDA – Multicriteria Decision Aided – provides support for the generation of criteria that are satisfactory both qualitatively and quantitatively. The present paper aims at providing an overall examination of a research previously conducted, using a case study, and extend the conclusions of that research and present the MCDA as good alternatives for establishing criteria that have been used in geoprocessed data.
