description The presented work summarizes the findings of long-term monitoring of the groundwater level in our territory. By solving the geological task Partial monitoring system Geological factors (PMS GF), in addition to direct results, consisting of data on the depth of the groundwater level, also several findings were gathered which created the conditions for assessing the quality of the monitoring network. The paper analyses in detail the model cases of incorrect installation of monitoring objects and their impact on the distortion of the monitored groundwater level. At the same time, the current state of the monitoring network is documented and solutions for its modernization are outlined.
