Summary: | Territorial boundary markers, found at various distances to the east of Sufetula, presented on one of their two main faces the acronym PMSM. These letters have been interpreted in a number of different ways. We present a review of these documents in order to demonstrate that they related not to an act of assignment of land to the Musunii, but rather to a delimitation between the territory of the Sufetula Musuniorum, founded as a Latin municipium on the lands of this tribe, and private areas. |
