| Summary: | The aim of the present study was to assess weight length and head circumference in children during the first year of life. The population comprised infants attending the "Welfare out patient" at the "Hospital Universitário Regional do Norte do Parana". The data were compared to the standard graphs "Santo André grupo IV" Undernourishment was found in 16,7% of children at 12 months of age which was not statically different of that found in children at 2 months of age.<p><p>Foi feita revisão de uma amostra de prontuários das crianças atendidas no primeiro ano de vida no Ambulatório de Puericultura do Hospital Universitário Regional do Norte do Paraná, com o objetivo de verificar o peso, estatura e perímetro cefálico, aos 2, 4y 6, 9 e 12 meses, comparando-os com as curvas padrão. A prevalência de desnutrição encontrada aos 12 meses foi de 16,7% estatisticamente igual à prevalência aos 2 meses. |
