Summary:This article considers the Oratoire de France as structured group: from the careers and the recruitments of fathers and friars, to their participation in power’s mechanisms and according to a democratic authority which get them involved, in the home economics of "houses", etc. This study pointed out an administrative district – le « troisième département » de l’Oratoire – where Provence, the one that gives its name, is associated with Languedoc, Gascony and Guyenne, while at the same time maintaining its hegemonic position in southern France. In this way, an unsuspected reality appears in all its light: strong solidarities unite about thirty five Southern houses, among which each contributes to the place in the animation of a vast territory, While maintaining close collaborations with its « sœurs »
