Summary:The article deals with the concept of “correction”. The factors that determine the need for correction in the study of the case system of Russian foreign Turkic-speaking students of engineering profile are defined. The differences between the Russian and Turkic languages, which create additional difficulties in the assimilation of prepositional-case system of Russian language by these students are considered. It was found that the organization of the system of corrective training is important to consider mistakes in the speech and writing of students in Russian case system. Methodical system of corrective training of Russian case system that has three main sub-stages: preparatory, basic and final, each of which use a system of  exercises, helping to eliminate the most common and regular mistakes of the non-Russian students in the case system of the Russian language is described.
