description The rod finite element providing displacement compatibility in case of eccentric connection a rod with a thin plate in the direction along the interface circuit is developed. This approach to the approximation of displacements allows to reduce the discontinuities of the rod internal forces on nodes. The results of the reinforced plate calculation showing a significant increasing of the solution accuracy in the comparison with the traditional procedure of discretization of plate-rod systems are presented.
