Summary: | As the neck is a region where many important structures exist, neck trauma creates serios problems. The most of important is airway obstruction and urgent airway is critical. Neck trauma is classified as blunt and penetrating trauma. After blunt trauma to the larynx, laryngeal cartilage fractures, intralaryngeal edeama, recurrent nerve injury and tracheosaphageal injury can be seen. Here, after blunt trauma, airway evaluation and treament of a patient who has vocal cord paralysis due to intralarengeal hemorrhage and edeama is presented. |
