The subject of Fitana(trials) is very broad and has many aspects. This humble work focuses on one important aspect that is awareness. Fully educating the generations on how to face the time of trials and to know the reality and effects of these trials and tribulations. Furthermore, it is also important to note the intensity of the threat it poses and wisely chalking out a strategy to interact with them and to assess the damage made to human life in the light of guiding principles and provisions derived from the Quran and the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم and biographies of our righteous ancestors. If the Muslim community follows them in true letter and spirit, it will never be regretted or disappointed. The guiding principles include ignoring rumors by encouraging sensible use of tongue and verifying the news before believing it. Spreading rumors is one of the deadliest weapons of enemies to destroy unity of the Ummah and creating atmosphere of chaos and anarchy. Precisely, it is evident that objectives of Sharia cannot be ensured, and Islamic renaissance cannot take place in the absence of self-consciousness, non-inclusive education system and without being cognizant of events around us.
