One of the important concerns of the field of physical education, the practice of science and how to maintain the adaptations of the training. This study aimed to investigate the effect of three weeks of exercise on physical abilities and body composition of military students following 8 weeks of Ranger and War exercises in Mountains. In a pilot study using semi experimental design with pre-test and post-test design, 30 officer students were selected in a purposeful and accessible manner and divided into two groups (15). Each group trained Ranger and War in the mountains for 8 weeks. Then, from all subjects, some physical fitness factors, fat percentage and body composition were measured at the end of the course and after 3 weeks of inertia. Data was collected using The analysis of variance analysis with repeated measure and Bonferroni post hoc test was analyzed. The results of pre-and post-test results showed that cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, abdominal muscular endurance, anaerobic power and agility were significantly decreased in both training groups, but endurance of shoulder muscle and strength in both training groups with Progress had been made, but this improvement was not statistically significant. Also, the mean post-test of fat percentage and BMI in the two groups showed that there was no statistically significant difference. It was also observed that none of the capabilities except aerobic power between the two groups was significant.
