| Summary: | The main objective of this paper is to analyze how they are presented in Salta press, the actions carried out by the argentine diplomacy in connection with the armed conflict of the Chaco Boreal. This selects the historical period which is located between the years 1932-1935, time during which developed the war between Bolivia and Paraguay. It is part of the central question, already outlined by the Bolivian historiography and recent contributions of argentine researchers, where it is required that the theme of argentine diplomacy is questioned by the government and the bolivian citizenship at the time. Specifically with regard to the ineffectiveness of the argentine mediation that was passed as redefining the fighting in the disputed territory. But mostly from policies decisions that were conditioned by the economic interests of individuals and that made the Argentine government for the completion of the contest were tilted in favour of the Paraguay.
