| Summary: | Sexual intercourse with a disable person, in fact, is the title of Article 187 from the Criminal Law of the Republic of Macedonia. This is a part of the large scientific and research project on sexual delinquency in our country. The main aim of the project is to describe the characteristics of the doers of sexual abuse, who with the court sentence going into effect were put in the Houses of correction. For that aim, 59 doers were interviewed, who at the critical period were executing a sentence. Besides analysis of court files, interviews, questionnaires and battery of tests were used. There were no detected significant deviations from the normal population in all segments of the examined personal characteristics of the doers of criminal act. Results of world wide similar researches compared to this research have been confirmed. Although the objective difficulties in investigating the consequences of this act on the victims, it has been concluded that it has a deep traumatic dimension. The need for further investigation including a large number of experts from different scientific disciplines was obvious. |
