description | Mizuna (Brassica rapa var. nipposinica sin Brassica rapa var. japonica) is a leafy vegetable with high potential in Romanian horticulture due to its high nutritional value with benefits to the population health, productivity, relatively easy cultivation technology, even in ecological farming system. The main aim of the present research, beside the introduction of a new cultivation system in our country, was to improve the cultivation technology of mizuma. Results showed that this leafy green can be cultivated with great success in our area, yields up to 60-75 t/ha could be obtained if the proper cultivation technology is followed. |
