Description
Summary:The current study is the initial study on metal-to-metal correlation and metal concentration correlation within sediment and water in Bangladesh. It also covers ecological and human health risk assessment. Highest and lowest concentration of Heavy metal(loids)(HMs) was observed in Cr and Cd respectively, in both seasons. The river shows moderate potential ecological risk in summer and considerable ecological risk in winter. In human health risks prospective, this river poses a potential non-carcinogenic health risk to humans. Moreover, no significant correlation was observed between HMs and HMs with sediment and water except Cd.
