Description
Summary:Penile fracture is a urological emergency. Primarily it is a tear of penile tunica albuginea when the penis is erect. We report a case of 37 years old man who complained of acute pain and rapid detumescence after hearing a cracking sound during sexual intercourse. The patient also has bloody meatal discharge and voiding difficulties. A typical “Eggplant Deformity” sign was present. Penile corpora ruptures and urethral injury were revealed in an immediate surgery. Corpora ruptures were repaired followed by urethral reconstruction. The surgery was uneventful. After a month following surgery, the patient had good erectile and voiding function.
