description The globalization process, which has resulted in economic, social and political changes that have been expanding in recent decades, has also significantly affected consumer behavior and consumer attitudes towards the labor market. This is evident above all in changes in the employment structure and has an indirect impact on management processes at both the enterprise and human resources scale. The main reasons for changes in consumer behavior observed in recent decades in Poland are primarily the increase in the standard of living of the society, the globalization of economies and markets, and the development of the production and distribution of goods and services. The purpose of the article is to indicate whether the emergence of new consumption trends on the Polish market is visibly shifted to the structure of the labor market and thus indirectly forces a change in the principles of economic management and an attempt to assess the strength of this impact. The level and structure of consumption are closely related to the state of the economy, the economic situation and the increase in the wealth of the society. The article is devoted to analyzes of the dynamics of changes in the employment structure in basic sectors of the economy in connection with changes in the consumption model treated as an echo of globalization processes. In the summary, attention will be paid to the new trends visible in consumer behavior, namely consumer hedonism, greening of consumption and deconsumption.
