Description
Summary:In a world that has produced so much violence and trauma, massacres and slaughter of millions of human beings, thus in this tragic era, marked by the tendency of disposal, in an age of increasing crime, unrest, bloodshed, and introversion, during this period of confusion and debase of value, the Church’s duty is to readjust the world towards „the return to Christ”: the Light and Life of the world. The present study wishes to highlight, in the light of the Holy Scripture and the tradition of the Orthodox Church, the Christian-Orthodox conception of humanity and the value of human beings. Thus by embodying these values the contemporary man and society will be able to find the answers and solutions to many of the problems facing the world today.
