| Summary: | A qualitative, retrospective and longitudinal study was carried out in the Faculty of Medical Sciences, in the professionals of Traumatology specialty of the Career Health Rehabilitation in the year 2013, with the objective of designing a set of dialogues in English for specific purposes The development of oral expression. Methods were used: analysis-synthesis, historical-logic, document and analysis, observation, survey of professionals, as well as interviews with professors of the staff in relation to the proposal for the classes, and professors of the specialty in relation to the used vocabulary. Limitations could be evidenced in the oral expression of the language for professional purposes. Once set of dialogues related to the technical vocabulary was used, satisfactory results were obtained from the professionals from a social, professional and cultural perspective through the language.
