Summary:This article aims to present a review of the area of clinical interventions that use the video as a strategy of intervention, especially in the area of parents training of pre-school children. It also intends to present functional hypothesis about the behavioral process implicit in the positive results with the use of this resource. It discusses the advantages of using the video in the optimization of the instructions offered, for shortening the interventions, encouraging membership, reducing costs and leading to the achievement of positive results in the shortest time possible.
