| Summary: | This research aims to determine the tuition strategy for private universities in this case the Calex Riau Polytechnic. This study uses cost data of the Politechnik Caltex Riau that are used as a basis in determining tuition in each study program. The approach used in determining tuition is a combination of cost based pricing and value based pricing. In addition to seeing the cost (unit cost), it is also seen the value of the product to service users who in this case are students. The method used in calculating tuition is by combining unit cost values and values obtained from students. The results of the study show that the unit cost value coupled with the value of students is the most reasonable value to be applied so that it continues to provide prices that have competitiveness.
