Summary: | The fundamental of prioritizing employees’ career satisfaction is an essential agenda of an organization. Referring to the concept of career satisfaction in Malaysia, employees who are satisfied with their careers can influence organizational success and contribute to effective organizational performance. Thus, considering the aim of the present research, this study examines the mediation effect of psychological empowerment on the relationship between perceived organizational support and career satisfaction among operators at one manufacturing company in Johor. A cross-sectional survey was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 248 respondents, with only 202 returned. Later, the collected feedback was loaded into SPSS software for descriptive statistical analysis. Next, SmartPLS software was utilized to evaluate the inferential statistic to test the projected hypotheses. The result indicated that psychological empowerment could mediate the relationship between perceived organizational support on career satisfaction. Several recommendations were enclosed to the respective organization and future researchers to cater to the studied problems.
