Summary:We study the role of quantum anomalies in relativistic fluids of nonabelian theories within the hydrodynamic expansion. To this end, we compute the local functional that solves the anomaly equations, and obtain the Bardeen-Zumino terms that covariantize the currents. We particularize these results to a background with an electromagnetic field and chiral imbalance for two flavors.
