To this end, money must not be understood as a medium of exchange, as is the case with Sohn-Rethel. Rather, the functions and cycles of money are to be understood as a technique of measurement and quantification, as well as a means of constitution of measured and quantified relations, and an overarching, trans-individual method for the valorization of capital. |
