description The mathematical analysis of the diagnostic significance of the partial tension of blood gases, indices of acid-base state and the electrolyte composition of the blood in premature newborns with the respiratory distress syndrome and the intrauterine pneumonia by the use of heterogeneous sequential procedure by Wald-Genkina were conducted for the first time in this article. The implementation of this method in health practice has not only a training effect, but also enhances the quality of the laboratory diagnostics.
