The current techniques utilized frequently result in flaccid flaps with significant dead space and excess skin or too short of a flap requiring revision. The outcomes that arise from these deformities delay wound healing and ultimate return to function for the patient.1 We describe a technique that is easily reproducible and results in a perfectly fitted flap. This technique has been adopted routinely in our practice, and has yielded consistent success. |
