| description | Resumo: O autor inicia a sua exposição pela análise da situação epidemiológica da tuberculose (TB) e da infecção VIH/SIDA em termos mundiais, o que lhe permite abordar, neste contexto, a actual gravidade da co-infecção tuberculose/SIDA (TB/SIDA).Seguidamente, debruça-se sobre o conjunto de problemas subjacente à negativa evolução desta afecção: irregular distribuição mundial; inexistência de uma estratégia global; abordagem separada das infecções TB e VIH/SIDA; diminuta implementação dos DOT; insuficiente investigação científica.Por último, propõe um conjunto de medidas, gerais e práticas, considerando para qualquer destas os âmbitos político-administrativo e médico-organizativo que deveriam envolver a sua aplicação. Abstract: The author analysis the epidemiologic situation of Tuberculosis (TB) and the HIV/AIDS infection in the whole world, which allows him to study the actual gravity of Tuberculosis/AIDS co-infection.Then the author studies a series of problems subjacent to the negative evolution of this affection: irregular world distribution, inexistence of a global strategy; separated study of TB and HIV/AIDS infection; insufficient application of DOTs and scientific investigation.Finally the author suggests some measures, general and practical, regarding the political administrative and medical organizative ambits, which should be present on its application.
