description This research aims to study the most important productive and economic indicators of the sugar beet crop in Egypt and Minia Governorate, also estimate the statistical of physical production functions of sugar beet crop in the study sample. Besides, identify the economic efficiency of most important resources used in the production of sugar beet at the level of the study sample, in addition to analyzing the cost functions of beet crop. The results showed that the total productive function of sugar it was found that the estimated model is statistically significant at a significant level (0.01), and the value of the determination coefficient shows that the production elements in the equation are responsible for explaining 97% of the changes that occur in the amount of production from the sugar beet crop, as it is clear from the function that the most important explanatory variables in the model that affect the dependent variable are the amount of human labor (Q9), Where its significance was proven at a significant level (0.01), and the relationship was positive with the dependent variable, while the productive elasticity of the amount of human labor (Q9) was about 0.93, and this means that increase use of this element by 10% leads to an increase in the production of sugar beet crop by 9.3%, while the significance of the rest of the variables included in the equation was not proven
