Summary:“The Art of Bibliography” is an international seminar that, since 2014, takes place every year. The papers presented in this seminar are, from 2015, published in journals with relevance in the area of Information Science. From these papers, the objective of this work is to study the theoretical conceptions and the concrete activities related to the domain of Bibliography in Brazil. The quali-quantitative study analyzes the production on the theme to evidence the evolution of the concept of bibliography present in the scientific productionthat relates Brazil to other countries, highlighting the conceptions and activities developed by researchers. Specifically, the research seeks to identify the elements that draw the domain, through the production on the theme “Bibliography”. In view of the above, this is a study of descriptive nature, since it analyzes the content of the articles, from categories of analysis and information raised in the scientific production considered. From the selected production on the theme, it was possible to verify that the theoretical epistemological, techno-methodological and sociopolitical dimensions are present, built as categories during the content analysis.
