Summary:The main objective of this approach is to analyze the seemingly undifferentiated functioning prospective turns used in Romanian as time relations, either subordinated or in the expression of historical retrospective and, consequently, to explain the incompatibility of the Romanian contingent with such operation. At a first glance, the investigation of the behavior of the canonical future and circumlocution avea + subjunctive in purely temporal area shows a side building aspectual and temporal features for the first drawer and, on the other hand, preference for the Romanian phrasal structures especially where the complexity of conceptualizing the maximum (avea + subjunctive translates the semanteme [later of the past]).
