description In view of problem that the accuracy of existing personnel positioning system is not high and ca't meet demand of precise positioning, a precise positioning method of underground moving target based on distance measurement technology was proposed. The method uses RSSI and TOF ranging technology to calculate accurate position of moving target, and can use historical data to estimate current location of the target in failure ranging caused by communication barriers. The experimental results show that the method can effectively obtain the moving target location, and has low computation complexity and good real-time performance, so it can be used for accurate personnel positioning in mine underground.
