| description | <p>The aim of this study is to analyze the impact that the global economic crisis has had in the various regions and sectors of the Spanish Economy during the years 2007-2010, measured in terms of jobs and human capital. To this end the evolution of the labour market and human capital in recent years is examined. The increase in unemployment, and to a lesser extent, human capital, demonstrates the vulnerability of business and production in the regions of Spain. Nevertheless, the results of the study show that the crisis has had an irregular effect across regions, being greater in those regions that depend more on industries such as construction and industry and service relating to retail.</p> |
