Summary:In France, the women students did not exist 150 years ago. Today, they are the majority of students. Young women become students after had been free auditors when for the first time they were be able to be registered at the faculty of medicine of Paris in 1868. The concept of “female nature”, used by their opponents, will also serve to women students to assert themselves. They tried to show that they do not enter in a male profession but that medicine is a “feminine” profession.
