Description
Summary:The photographic medium allows to give an account of what clothing involves at work from a legal point of view. The wearing of work clothing or protective equipment may be required, in law, to protect the health and safety of the person in the course of his or her professional activity. Legally, it is these reasons which impose on the employer, who owes a security obligation, to provide it, to maintain it, to repair it and which legitimize the obligation for the worker to wear it. This is the case for caregivers facing biological risks or employees facing chemical risks. The "bulwark" function of the garment is then highlighted. In other contexts, the garment worn at work is the personal garment with which one adorns oneself, as a marker of personality. It is the “appearance” clothing. The clothing is then susceptible to interfere with dress standards or dress code. Then the sometimes non-legal constraints of an occupational environment coexist with the individual freedom of workers.
