Romania has undertaken under European Green Deal to increase significantly its production capacity until 2030. As per the public available data, Romania’s renewable energy contribution to the 2030 EU level target is 30.7% of gross final energy consumption in 2030. The estimated amount of investment is EUR 150 billion for 2021 to 2030 (annually around 7% of current GDP).
