A thorough review of the literature reveals the association of various infectious conditions of ENT practice is associated with biofilm-producing bacteria. Infections associated with biofilms are usually chronic due to the resilience of bacteria, to the innate and acquired immune system of the host and antibiotic therapy. This review article is written to evaluate and understand various aspects of biofilm-related infections in ENT.
